A look inside this year's Astronaut class

The newest class of NASA explorers ( Astronauts ) is announced!
This year NASA has chosen astronauts very wisely, as usual :)
We have people form different background, areas of expertise & tonnes of experience in STEM.
Let me introduce you the NASA's newest class of Astronaut candidates of year 2021.
Nichole Ayers - 32 years; US Air Force. Bachelor's in mathematics with minor in Russian, master's in computational & applied mathematics. 200 combat hours + 1,150 hr of total flight.
Marcos Berrios - 37 years; US Air Force. Bachelor's in mechanical from MIT, master's in mechanical & PhD in aeronautics & astronautics from Stanford. 110 combat missions + 1,300 hr of total flight time in 21 different aircraft.
Christina Birch - 35 years; Bachelor's in mathematics & biochemistry & molecular biophysics. PhD in biological engineering form MIT. A pro track cyclist on the US National Team.
Deniz Burnham - 36 years; US Navy. NASA intern. Bachelor's in chemical engineering & master's in mechanical engineering. Manages drilling projects; Core samples retrieval - astronauts drill & collect core samples from moon & mars !
Luke Delaney - 42 years; US Marine Corps. Bachelor's in mechanical engineering & master's in Aerospace engineering. Test pilot & NASA's research pilot. 3,700 + flight hrs on 48 different aircrafts.
Andre Douglas - 35 years; Bachelor's in mechanical engineering & masters in mechanical & naval architecture & marine engineering. Also holds a master's in electrical & computer engineering. A PhD in system engineering. Worked in NASA's marine missions & space exploration missions.
Jack Hathaway - 39 years; US Navy. Bachelor's in physics & history. 2,500 flight hrs in 30 different type of aircrafts, 500 + aircraft carrier landings & 39 combat missions.
Anil Menon - 45 years; US Air Force. Bachelor's in Neurobiology from Harvard & maters in mechanical engineering from Stanford & PhD in medicine from Stanford. A son of Indian immigrant to US. SpaceX's first flight surgeon, helping launch SpaceX's first human space mission - NASA's SpaceX Demo-2 mission. NASA's crew flight surgeon for various missions. He is trained Aerospace medical officer. 100 sorties in F-15 fighter jet.
Christopher Williams - 38 years; Bachelor's in physics from Stanford & PhD in physics from MIT; astrophysics researcher. A trained medical officer from Harvard Medial School.
Jessica Wittner - 38 years; US Navy. Bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering & master's in Aerospace Engineering. US Naval test pilot.
With addition of these newest 10 astronauts of the 2021 astronaut candidate class, NASA now has selected 360 astronauts since the original Mercury Seven in 1959.
