Perseverance Rover touches Mars!

Mars 2020 Mission

Hey Explorers! 

NASA's Perseverance rover touches the red soil after 7 months long space journey on 18th feb,2021.

This was one of the most beautiful moment that will be written with golden letters in the history of space exploration.

Lets see some quick facts about the mission:

• Mission name: Mars2020.
• Rover name: Perseverance.
• Objective: To seek signs of ancient life & collect samples of regolith (broken rocks and soil) for possible return to Earth.
• Launch: July 30th, 2020.
• Landing: Feb. 18th, 2021.
• The mission was launched at the time when Mars & Earth where closest to each other. 
• NASA spend around  $2.7 Billions on this mission.
• Google makes this money in just 6 days.
• This time the rover is not alone as Curiosity but this time it has a specially designed drone Ingenuity which can fly in the thin atmosphere of Mars.
